Three ColorCard Using Saleabration Paper

Okay, played with the blog today to see if I could add a signature. Not as easy as it look. Way too scared to go messing with Html.

Today's card used design paper from Stampin'Up!'s Saleabration. You can get this free with the purchase of $50 of product. So I only have limited supplies and ink colors. I had So Saffron and Sahara Sand. So I added my third color with the different design papers in the kit. I took a striped paper and cut it and overlapped the strips to eliminate the blue and make it look like a ribbon. I backed the main stamp Upsy Daisy with the So Celery design paper to bring the color up to the image. Popped up the image with stamping dimensional. Then stamped the sentiment in Sahara sand ink. Back ground of image is on whisper white card stock.

I used a colluzle cutting mat to stamp on the get a better image. Card is Kraft card stock.

Here is a picture of the original design paper

Cuttlebug texture plate and Ink

So I was playing around with my cuttlebug textue envelope and I tried the techique of adding ink to the folder. This started out as a pink piece of paper, I used bubblegum glimmer mist. Let dry. Added yellow pigment ink (versa color chalk ink) to the folder and then embossed.I colored a Riley Image from Hanna Stamps that I got as a RAK from Cindi on the Stamp Shack. I coordinated the colors with the cardstock. The paper in the corner triangle is from basic grey. I had some brown paper and raspberry paper hanging out so I used that too. Embellishment are SU's corduroy buttons in Kraft and some pearlized dewdrops.

Copic Air brush, Embossing

Today's card is actually me playing around with my new copic airbrush. I was playing around with it and after I had finished I though it would make a great background. The Stamp is from clubscrap Feb 2009 kit. I first stamped it in Stampin'Up!(SU) whisperwhite craft ink and then clear embossed over it. Then used versa mark, I stamped all over the back ground randomly. I embossed clear embossing powder over that. Then I used versamark again and stamped the image again in the center closely lining it up. I embossed this time with silver embossing powder. I added a sentiment from clubscrap. I layered Kiwi Kiss card stock from SU. Used some felt flowers again from SU. Added some silver brads in the corners. I then colored white organza ribbon with the copics and tied 3 colors coordinating with the background.

How I made the back ground: I used my copic airbrush and I think I used a blue, a purple and olive green marker to spray the back ground. Then I used blending solution dropped on. I then dabbed hot pink and yellow markers on the background allowing the color to push aside the blue and green. After that I used the colorless blending solution and put some drops on again.

Scrapbooking video

This was a video that I made at a crop. I had challenged myself to create a page using the puzzle pieces from die that I have. I didn't post the original video as it is not that informative. The paper is die cuts with a view for the puzzle pieces and I don't remember the backgroung paper. I will look it up.

First post

Thought I would start my first post with a card that I created a while ago. I love these "bee happy" bees from stampendous. I used some basic grey card stock and craft cs for stampin' up. Cut it out with my circle nestiblities. Added a brad and button for accent.
